IPH HYDRAULICS LLP (formerly Indian Pneumatic & Hydraulic, in it's various forms as a partnership or private limited company) is a pioneering company in the field of fluid power and automation.

Originally established in 1974 by three engineers with a common vision of manufacturing high quality products, it has today grown into a highly reputed organization, with a few hundred thousand cylinder installations, located all over India and abroad.

 

By specialising in the design and manufacture of customised Hydraulic & Pneumatic cylinders, particularly for applications where high accuracy, repeatability, and long life are required, the company has a proven record for quality and reliability. This has resulted in maximum orders from repeat customers, as well as end-users and OEMs.

 

Until recently, IPH had a manufacturing setup with a total built-up area of about 30,000 sq.ft, spread over two locations, with the primary factory now located at Bhiwandi (Dist. Thane) on the outskirts of Mumbai. Utilising the latest CNC and VMC machines, along with an array of conventional equipment, each cylinder is assembled and tested in-house. Testing procedures and QAPs are in line with current standards and specifications.

Our biggest asset is the team of highly experienced and dedicated personnel, who have the expertise to manufacture and deliver complex equipment, at an optimal cost. Led earlier by the company founder Mr. TR Sreedharan (till 2016), and  subsequently by Mr. Anoop Sreedharan, with 25 years of design and engineering experience, complemented by a highly experienced production team, IPH has the requisite know-how and skill to execute any job.

With periodic maintenance and usage as per design, each IPH cylinder is expected to operate for an average of 20+ years, thereby reducing the overall capital costs of the end-user. This is a proven fact based on feedback from our customers. Our cylinders have also been used for import replacements (equivalent to major foreign brands), resulting in significant cost savings without compromising on performance.

Today, IPH has a customer base of over 1000 customers, and our cylinders have been installed in varied sectors of the industry, such as Machine Tools, Steel, Hydropower, Automobile, Defence, Rubber, Plastic, Pharma, Thermal Power etc.

The application parameters vary from high speed (eg: 10 m/s speed for a defense project), to high temperature (furnace cylinders operable at 300ºC), very low pressure (0.2 BAR actuation pressure for valve actuators in thermal power), very high load (1000 ton force Roll force AGC cylinder for steel), very long stroke (8000 mm stroke for work roll change assembly of steel mill), as well as 0.03/0.05 concentricity/ perpendicularity for repeatability of CNC SPM slides/guides/broaches etc.
