Servicing, Repair and Maintenance

When production cannot wait for a new part!

 

Buying a new cylinder is always an option, when your old one starts to show signs of damage. However, when you face an unexpected failure of the cylinder, such as bent piston rod, seal failure, damages on rod surface, scoring marks on the tube etc, it becomes important to repair the damage, before planning for a new requisition. Because production cannot stop, schedules cannot be disrupted.

At the same time, a small complication should not lead to a bigger complication, as a quick repair may not be the ideal solution. Production and maintenance teams therefore look to offload such repairs to experienced hands, who had carried out such work a million times.

This is where IPH comes in with its decades of expertise, and ability to diagnose deeper problems where others can't see beyond a basic level. We have repaired cylinders of 800 bore, 5000 mm stroke, and have the goodwill of many maintenance personnel all over.

Our supply chain network consists of multiple vendors who can straighten bent rods, grind upto 1200 mm dia, 10000 mm long, use additive chrome layers upto 500 microns (multilayer) thick, and so on
