Pneumatic Cylinders (Standard)

Standard pneumatic cylinders manufactured by IPH have dimensional conformity with ISO 15552, ISO 6431 standards.

Additionally, IPH also offers a rugged heavy duty series based on their own design.

Each category is explained below :

1. Cylinders conforming to ISO 15552 (small bore) :

ISO 15552 defines overall dimensions for Pneumatic cylinders, with multiple mounting options available.

For sizes upto 125 bore, we offer these cylinders with two options : Cost-effective Steel construction, or Lightweight die-cast Aluminium construction.

Each cylinder is thoroughly tested for leakage and performance under pressure.

We use our own brand of high quality, long life seals, which have a temperature rating of around 70-80ºC (176 F). Special seals are also available for higher temperatures upto 150-200º C temperature.

Standard mountings are :

1. Front Flange

2. Rear Flange

3. Rear Pivot (aka Rear Trunnion)

4. Side Lug and Side Flush

5. Intermediate Trunnion

Aluminium construction is offered for a MOQ of 50 nos per design.

Steel and Cast Iron based designs have no minimum quantity.

2. Cylinders conforming to IPH Standard (IPH-1212)

This catalog is based on a standard heavy duty design developed in the 1970s and 1980s. While it is largely superseded by newer standards and ISO designs, many customers still prefer this due to the heavy duty design, which does not compromise on functionality in the interest of compact design.

3. Pneumatic Cylinders for special applications :

For several applications such as the thermal power field or furnace/kiln applications, IPH provides rugged cylinders which are capable of operating at high temperatures. Most of these applications are critical to plant operation, and IPH has been registered as OEM for many such cases, based on the quality proven over many decades.
